Community & Tone3000

Soundshed Guitar connects to two online services so you can explore and download amp models and presets created by the community.

Tone3000 — Amp model library

Tone3000 is an online library of Neural Amp Models contributed by the community. You can browse thousands of captures of real amplifiers and download any of them directly into your library.

Browsing models

  1. Open the Community tab in the navigation bar.
  2. Select the Models section.
  3. Browse by category (e.g. British, American, High Gain, Clean) or use the search bar to find a specific amp name.
  4. Click a model to see its details — the amp it captures, who made the capture, and user ratings.

Downloading a model

  1. Click Download on any model listing.
  2. The model is saved to your local library and is immediately available in the resource picker inside the Signal Chain Editor.

Authentication

Some features (ratings, downloading premium content) require a Tone3000 account:

  1. Open Settings → Tone3000 API Key.
  2. Paste your API key from your Tone3000 account dashboard.
  3. Click Save. Your account is now linked.

Soundshed Community — Preset sharing

The Soundshed Community lets you browse and download complete presets — full signal chains with amp models, cabinets, and effects configured — shared by other players.

Browsing community presets

  1. Open the Community tab and select Presets.
  2. Browse by category, genre, or search by name.
  3. Click a preset to preview its signal chain and description.

Downloading a community preset

  1. Click Download on a preset listing.
  2. The preset is added to your Community folder in the Preset Browser and loaded automatically.
  3. Any models or IRs referenced by the preset are downloaded alongside it.

Sharing your own presets

  1. In the Preset Browser, right-click a preset and choose Share with Community.
  2. Add a description, tags, and choose a category.
  3. Click Publish. Your preset is visible to other users on the Soundshed platform.

Creating a NAM Blend

The Blend Editor lets you mix two or more NAM models together to create a hybrid tone:

  1. In the resource browser, click New Blend.
  2. Add two or more models to the blend.
  3. Adjust the mix percentage for each model using the sliders.
  4. Save the blend — it appears in your library as a regular model and can be loaded into any NAM Amp node.

Snap mode locks blend ratios to whole percentages; Interpolate mode allows smooth fractional mixing.
