Version 1.3.0 delivers major signal chain performance upgrades, improved NAM level behavior, and a broad UI and workflow refresh.

Highlights​

  • Reworked NAM processing to better match the reference implementation, including resampling performance fixes.
  • Faster preset switching with background preset loading and safer signal chain pause/resume during load.
  • New parallel effects-chain execution pipeline with adaptive workload balancing for better multi-core CPU efficiency.
  • IR Cab now supports pan or L/R split for true stereo cabinet placement.
  • Tone sharing and browser workflow has been overhauled for cleaner navigation and sharing behavior.

Neural Amp Modeler (NAM)​

  • Input leveling from model metadata is now applied for more consistent levels across models (for the first NAM in chain).
  • Auto-gain calibration was unified and simplified.

IR Cab​

  • Added pan and L/R split controls.
  • Simplified and corrected IR level normalization.

Signal Chain and Performance​

  • Presets now load on a background thread, reducing audio interruption during switching.
  • Signal chain processing is safely paused during preset loading to avoid partial-state artifacts.
  • Mono/stereo mode is now correctly recalled between sessions.

EQ​

  • Low and high shelf filters now include Q/resonance control for more precise shaping.

Mixer/Splitter​

  • Fixed the Mixer/Splitter delay option behavior.

Plugin Host​

  • Prevented a crash when the plugin attempted to host itself.
  • Improved LV2 plugin list handling and support for bundle-hierarchy plugin types.
  • Improved plugin list UI selection and keyboard navigation.
  • In DAW plugin mode, input channel and mono/stereo mode are now delegated correctly to the host.

UI and Workflow​

  • Overhauled Tone Sharing and Browser experience.
  • Improved preset folder rename/delete workflows.
  • Toast notifications now appear as floating overlays.
  • Improved inline knob editor keyboard input behavior.
  • Improved light mode styling.
  • Added NAM/IR metadata details in the resource browser.
  • Added favorites toggle for local resources.

Tone 3000 / Sharing​

  • Improved Tone3000 integration.
  • The library tab used for advanced/experimental blends is now disabled by default in Settings.
  • Shared preset titles now prefer original published names.
  • Improved resource handling and UI for shared/imported presets.

Fixes​

  • Fixed preset pack uninstall.
  • Fixed resource naming during import/export publish.
  • Preset-level data no longer inherits global signal chain settings unintentionally.
  • Debounced DSP diagnostic message rate to reduce UI thread overhead.
